My Analysis On “Vital Signs”

March 15th, 2012

Foreign students at UC Berkeley Take More Seats HOWEVER Do Not Pay The Freight. UC Berkeley (UCB) pulls back on admission offers to California residents. Chancellor Robert J Birgeneau displaces Californians qualified for public Cal. with a $50,600 payment from foreign office travel advice students. And, foreign student tuition is subsidized in the guise of diversity while instate student tuition/fees are doubled.

UCB is not increasing enrollment. Birgeneau accepts $50,600 foreign students and displaces qualified instate Californians (When depreciation of assets funded by Californians are in foreign and out of state tuition calculations, out of state and foreign tuition is more than $100,000 + and does NOT subsidize instate tuition). Like Coaches, Chancellors Who Do Not Measure-Up Must Go.

More recently, Chancellor Birgeneau’s campus police deployed violent baton jabs on students protesting Birgeneau’s tuition increases. The sky will not fall when Birgeneau and his $450,000 salary are ousted. Opinions make a difference; email UC Board of Regents marsha.kelman@ucop.edu

Thoughts On “Eric Gibson: Jerusalem Underground—Secrets of an Ancient City”

March 14th, 2012

I was in Israel in December, and yes, the Muslims crushed to smithereens any artifacts that they discovered in excavating beneath the Al Aqsa in an endeaver to create another mosque where King Solomon’s stables were. (Actually, the stables first date advice from crusader times). The rubble from 2,000 years of history was dumped in a valley when the atrocity was discovered by the Israeli authorities. It was recovered and is being examined for artifacts. Tourists can join in the search, and I spent about an hour sifting through a bucket of it. Ancient coins, pottery shards, and mosaic pieces have been found among other things.

Criticism On “Lawyer to Wall Street Says Don’t Blame Pay”

March 14th, 2012

This man is paid to NEGOTIATE these packages. Of course he’s going to take a side in defence of them. If he didn’t, he’d be out of a job. He makes money off them!

It’s embarassing for the Wall Street Journal to quote a man like this, who is about the most biased person one could ask for an opinion on this matter. Quote anyone else, an economist, a politician, a man on the street, I don’t care, I’d trust almost anyone’s opinion on this topic more than the free lawyer advice who is in the pockets of the people with these huge pay packages.

The Art Of Product Photography

March 14th, 2012

The Art Of Product Photography

Artists look at a blank canvas and see a world of possibilities. The rest of us tend to stare at the canvas and think that it’s either terribly intimidating, or just dull. The same is true when it comes to product photography. If you show someone a bed, and nothing else, then you’re showing them the empty house, not a home, or the blank canvas, rather than a world of possibilities. This is why many examples of product photography either in catalogues or online show the bed made up, with attractive but neutral bedding on it. The bed will be in a room, with carpet and walls, a window with curtains and perhaps one or two items of furniture, a vase of flowers and a rug. All of this turns the product from an object into something the consumer can imagine using, and can visualise in their own room. For more information please visit “product photography Glasgow” lvk

How to File for Tax Returns Toronto

March 13th, 2012

Filing of tax returns can be a daunting task. You have to prepare all papers and present supporting documents for all your claims. In a bird’s eye view, the tax collected comes from your net income. This is the amount you have after the deductions of your expenses. In the eyes of tax payers, they want to make the net income appear small so that they will have to pay less tax. But there are guidelines on the valid and acceptable expenses. Your tax accountant will tell you about them. After the computation, you will file the tax returns Toronto and pay the necessary dues.

Some Thoughts On “Douglas E. Schoen: The Union Threat to the Democrats’ Future”

March 13th, 2012

Sir, while Mr Taylor still references public unions I will add two private sector union situations that cost the taxpayer. First, the auto bailout at Gubmint Motors and Chrysler. Private investors (taxpayers) were screwed over while partial ownership was handed to the unions. It has been projected that the stock advice in GM will have to almost double before our gubmint owned stock could be sold for a profit. Second, all of the union exemptions from Obamacare implementation. Some other people (read non union-member taxpayers) will end up paying more in the long run.

Oh, I almost forgot, since the Employee Forced/Free Choice Act was NOT enacted as a law, the unions are still getting their way through the labor-stacked NLRB.

A Commentary On “Arthur B. Laffer: Cain’s Stimulating ’9″

March 12th, 2012

999 will raise more tax dollars for the US by allowing business to spend thier resources on creating growth. Right now they spend trillions, yes trillions on tax accountants, lawyers, and lobbyists to the point of even moving thier operations overseas to avoid the redistribution minded democrates and old guard go along to get along republicans. This is the only plan that will get us out of the mess we are in.

Can you imagine CEO, gutting your accounting department? Can you imagine small business advice business person not having to worry about dodging the IRS? 999 does not even require an IRS. Vote for this man.
