What are Credit Cards?

Credit cards or Plastic money is the term as they are loosely called. It’s the easy way to spend money in the 21st century where one does not clearly need cash per se to make a purchase at a designated merchant. Bad credit cards are wallet sized cards just like a visiting card made of plastic and have a magnetic strip which is linked to the Bank providing it with the merchants who swipe it for recording the transaction. Especially when one is over 18 yrs or an adult, one is allowed to apply for a credit card. Although below are some points which can be kept in mind before applying for one. One needs to have a stable paying job or recurring income i.e. you can actually ask for credit provided you have the means to pay back the funds. In clear terms you are only allowed to spend a certain part of your income on the credit limit. The companies providing the credit cards thoroughly check how much ones makes per hour/month and then decides how much credit limit is allotted to that individual. One should also think about which type credit card one would prefer on the basis on the need i.e. there are different types available like VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS. Depending on which types suits ones spending habits one should go for. For Example: Visa is available and acceptable mostly everywhere in the US and abroad rather than the AMERICAN EXPRESS. Plus some merchants charge extra if it’s an AMEX or MASTERCARD or vice versa.
